And then there's two separate ways of funding and pretty well partners come up with funds. 00:08:02

There is a new wetland mitigation banking program that I have information on. 00:08:11

We're working on wetland determinations and interim and final rules, so. 00:08:20
When the 1985 farm bill passed, there was a stipulation that's carried through where you cannot destroy a wetland, put it into 00:08:25

In in farmers who have crop insurance, crop insurance is backed by the federal government, so they're considered in a farm bill 00:08:34
program. They have to comply with those rules. 00:08:38
And they're just going back from the records from 1990 to the present day to make sure those are all accurate. No one accidentally 00:08:42
messed up on determining the wetlands there, and there's not actually one. 00:08:48
Program demand versus funding Indiana producers requested more than $200 million in conservation assistance in fiscal year 2026, 00:08:56
while NRCS had 60 million available to invest through Equip CSP. 00:09:02
In the agricultural easement program, the wetland reserve easement. 00:09:08
For every dollar available for equip, producers requested nearly $6 in conservation funding. For CSP, producers requested more 00:09:12
than $4.00 for every dollar available in the Indiana land, owners requested more than $3 for every dollar available through the 00:09:17

NRCS is investing $3,000,000 to support the development of a wetland mitigation banks for agricultural producers so the wetland 00:11:31
mitigation banking program. Wetlands are restored, created, enhanced and generates credits that can be purchased by producers 00:11:38
looking to compensate for unavoidable impacts to wetlands in another location. 00:11:44

There is a new wetland mitigation banking program that I have information on. 00:08:11

We're working on wetland determinations and interim and final rules, so. 00:08:20
When the 1985 farm bill passed, there was a stipulation that's carried through where you cannot destroy a wetland, put it into 00:08:25
production. 00:08:29
In in farmers who have crop insurance, crop insurance is backed by the federal government, so they're considered in a farm bill 00:08:34
program. They have to comply with those rules. 00:08:38
And they're just going back from the records from 1990 to the present day to make sure those are all accurate. No one accidentally 00:08:42
messed up on determining the wetlands there, and there's not actually one. 00:08:48
Program demand versus funding Indiana producers requested more than $200 million in conservation assistance in fiscal year 2026, 00:08:56
while NRCS had 60 million available to invest through Equip CSP. 00:09:02
In the agricultural easement program, the wetland reserve easement. 00:09:08
For every dollar available for equip, producers requested nearly $6 in conservation funding. For CSP, producers requested more 00:09:12
than $4.00 for every dollar available in the Indiana land, owners requested more than $3 for every dollar available through the 00:09:17

So this wetland mitigation bank project, I will go over it because it is something that counties and and and sewer water boards 00:11:22

NRCS is investing $3,000,000 to support the development of a wetland mitigation banks for agricultural producers so the wetland 00:11:31
mitigation banking program. Wetlands are restored, created, enhanced and generates credits that can be purchased by producers 00:11:38
looking to compensate for unavoidable impacts to wetlands in another location. 00:11:44
