We don't want me to go passing the tax. 00:00:00
I'd like to welcome everyone to the Floyd County Council regular meeting Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. 00:00:04
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 00:00:12
Allegiance to the flag. 00:00:16
United States of America. 00:00:18
And to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. 00:00:19
Let the record show that we have a full quorum tonight. 00:00:31
Mr. Bagshaw, would you say the prayer for us? 00:00:35
Yeah, let's pray. 00:00:37
Lord we, as always, we're so grateful that we live in. 00:00:39
Great country, freedom and liberty that we can meet an open meeting without fear of retribution. 00:00:42
Or give us guidance tonight. 00:00:48
Just knowledge and that we can. 00:00:50
Make prudent choices for the better. More opportunity. 00:00:52
We thank you today that we have. 00:00:55
Just for everything in our life. 00:00:58
Lord, I want to pray for. 00:01:00
Soldier, sailors, they're Marines. Today. It's the police. Keep them safe as they keep us safe. 00:01:02
Oh God, be with our first responder, our sheriff, our. 00:01:08
Firefighters, our EMS says they they keep us safe. Keep, please keep them safe. Lord, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem today. 00:01:11
And also, I would just like to say I like to pray for the peace of America today. 00:01:19
All right. 00:01:26
Acceptance of tonight's agenda with the. 00:01:26
One change that Gloria sent out. 00:01:32
Move to approve. 00:01:36
A second. 00:01:37
Motion is second for the second. 00:01:38
Acceptance of tonight's agenda? Any discussion? 00:01:40
All in favor say aye aye. 00:01:44
Opposed that carries approval of minutes from the May 13th meeting, so moved. 00:01:46
Second motion and 2nd for the previous. 00:01:53
Meetings, minutes, any discussion? 00:01:56
All in favor say aye aye. Any opposed? 00:01:59
Carries. 00:02:02
Is there anyone from the public? 00:02:03
Would like to speak before we get started. 00:02:05
All right, that sounds good. 00:02:08
All right, we're. 00:02:10
New business #1. 00:02:12
EMA. 00:02:14
Appropriate for equipment. 00:02:24
So this is. 00:02:26
Money that's come came in from Duke Energy Florida. Yeah. Why the radios? 00:02:27
I'm moving to approve 1A. 00:02:31
2nd, we have a motion in a second for one a any discussion. 00:02:33
All in favor say aye aye. Any opposed? 00:02:37
That carries. 00:02:40
Item 2. Diana representing the health department tonight. 00:02:43
I'm just going to say it so. 00:02:47
This is literally just an appropriation program received by the health department, so it's just moving money into a step line. 00:02:50
I move to approve 2. 00:02:59
Second Motion, 2nd 28. Any questions for Diana or discussion? 00:03:01
All in favor say aye. 00:03:07
Aye, any opposed? 00:03:09
Carries. 00:03:10
You're up again. 00:03:11
So a. 00:03:13
Is transferring. 00:03:15
The money is that had been set aside for the CARES Act into. 00:03:16
Capital expenditure line within. 00:03:22
The rainy day fund that is specified for the Grant Line Rd. building. 00:03:24
I do have an. 00:03:29
Ask for clarification purposes so this. 00:03:30
Transfer was happening from one line to another as far as coding goes. 00:03:32
At the request of the Council. 00:03:36
Due to. 00:03:38
What is happening with the building on Grant Line Rd. 00:03:39
My ask is. 00:03:42
Primarily just for direction for my. 00:03:44
Office is once this transfer is complete, would you like us to actually move these monies into the construction fund specific? 00:03:46
To the health Department. 00:03:54
Or do we want to leave them here? 00:03:57
Until a later date, appropriations will start to be made. 00:03:59
They would still have to be made. That is correct. 00:04:02
It would just be moved from one actual fund to another. Right now this is just a line transfer because you wanted to specify this 00:04:04
designated for the Grant Line Rd. project. 00:04:08
On a line. So we have created that line. It is going to be transferred into that line staying within the rainy day fund. But are 00:04:14
you wanting us? 00:04:17
To move those monies into the Grant Line Rd. Project Fudge. 00:04:21
And then wait on appropriations. 00:04:26
Should we just not transfer this and just create the new fund and the fund already exists? 00:04:28
We had to have it for when the van was closed on. 00:04:35
So it would be moved there. It would have a specific receipt line that tracks it back to the CARES Act money is out of the rainy 00:04:38
day fund, and then you would have appropriation powers like you do with all other funds. I like that. 00:04:43
Yes. 00:04:49
OK, excellent. 00:04:50
So this is literally just a line transfer so that we can continue to track it using that grant line Rd. line number. I make a 00:04:51
motion to approve to make this transfer though. Or do we? 00:04:56
Just I think we need to do this for track. 00:05:00
It just makes it easier to follow all expenses. 00:05:02
Creates a line. Matt, make your. 00:05:06
I make a motion to approve 3A. 00:05:08
2nd we have a motion to 3A and it is for. 00:05:10
OK, excellent. 00:05:14
Moving to the. 00:05:15
We'll get it moved and then it'll be part of a purpose. 00:05:17
At a later date. 00:05:20
Would you like us to vote on it? 00:05:21
Do you want us to vote on? 00:05:23
Yeah, I do. Did some money second. 00:05:25
Yes. 00:05:26
Any questions? 00:05:28
All in favor say aye. Any opposed? 00:05:30
That carries. 00:05:33
3B is an additional appropriations within the general fund to specific. 00:05:34
Specifically for employee payouts, so. 00:05:39
This is a line that was. 00:05:41
Created for employees separating. 00:05:44
Employment for those payouts that they qualify for outside of the general fund, we have multiple. 00:05:47
Long term employees retire. 00:05:52
At the beginning of this year. 00:05:54
And actually we expect a few more by the end of this year. So we started out. 00:05:56
Think with the $25,000 budget this year because we didn't anticipate the ones that decided to leave this year. 00:06:00
So we're asking for an additional 25,000. 00:06:06
To make up a current deficit and be ready for two that we are aware of that will be. 00:06:09
Retiring by the end of this year. 00:06:14
Motion to approve 3B as advertised. 00:06:17
2nd we have a motion a second for 3B and four. 00:06:20
Our younger ones, we used to. 00:06:25
When years ago. 00:06:27
When this became a thing. 00:06:28
Our first year we budgeted I think $100,000. 00:06:30
In two separate lines for this. So this has gone down quite a bit since we instituted some new. 00:06:33
Well, well. 00:06:39
Policies there so but my question is you mentioned. 00:06:40
That you. 00:06:45
You have an inkling of two more comments. 00:06:47
OK. Thank you. 00:06:49
All right. Any further discussion on 3B? 00:06:51
All in favor say aye. 00:06:55
Any opposed that carries? 00:06:57
3C, just a small adjustment. I know it says opioid restricted abatement, but it is actually a opioid unrestricted. That's the 00:07:00
unrestricted fund. It's OK. 00:07:05
So this is an additional appropriation that was passed by the Opioid Oversight Committee as well as the Board of Commissioners, 00:07:11
which is kind of the step process. 00:07:15
For any monies that are spent outside of well within the unrestricted fund. 00:07:19
This 13,500 would cover 7 individuals going to gang. 00:07:23
College in Chicago. 00:07:28
So for those of you that have. 00:07:32
May not be familiar with the opioid distribution and the unrestricted the commissioners protected the unrestricted funds that are 00:07:34
being distributed to us from the state and federal government. 00:07:39
By dedicating them to interdiction specifically. So this is the fight against drugs. This is not the treatment of or recovery 00:07:44
from. This is very specific to arming and educating our. 00:07:51
Our law enforcement individuals. 00:07:57
Within Floyd County on how to continue to fight and prevent drugs from entering our community. 00:08:00
So the prosecutor's office is sending 3 individuals. The Sheriff's Department is sending. 00:08:06
2 individuals. 00:08:12
The probation department is sending one and an APD is sending one, and this is covering those costs. 00:08:14
So this is registration, this is hotels, this is travel fees, this is per diem. 00:08:20
So the the Opioid Oversight Committee board, which consists of myself, Sheriff Bush. 00:08:25
Prosecutor Chris Lane and Commissioner Jason Sharp. 00:08:30
Heard a request, approved the request, took it to the commissioners. Commissioners agreed that it is within their. 00:08:33
Outline of what this fund should do. 00:08:40
So I'm here for appropriations. 00:08:42
I make a motion approved 3C. 00:08:44
Is that we have a motion and a second for 3C. Any further discussion? 00:08:46
Well done describing that. 00:08:51
No, thank you. 00:08:53
Who's putting it on? 00:08:56
Do you know who's putting on the training or what the? 00:08:58
Any further discussion? 00:09:09
All in favor say aye. 00:09:12
Aye, you opposed. 00:09:13
That carries. 00:09:14
Next up, we have the opioid restricted fund. 00:09:17
Not to be confused with one that we just talked about. 00:09:19
Again, this has been put in the hands of J Rack. 00:09:21
Which is a very large board and very involved and I know that Miss conglomerates on that board. 00:09:25
These appropriations are to cover 2 awards, one for Southern Indiana supervision and one for our plates. 00:09:32
Again, this passed through J Rack and Pass through the Commissioners and now it's before the Council. 00:09:39
To have it appropriated. The difference between the unrestricted and restricted is that the restricted has very specific 00:09:44
guidelines to be used for treatment and recovery within your community. 00:09:48
Motion to approve 3D. 00:09:55
We have a motion in a second for three. 00:09:57
Any further discussion? 00:10:00
All in favor say aye aye. Any opposed? 00:10:03
3 E is a line transfer within the commissioners budget, decreasing their bonds line and increasing their attorney fees. 00:10:08
Move to approve 3E. 00:10:17
2nd. 00:10:20
Motion a second for 3E? Any discussion? 00:10:21
All in favor say aye. 00:10:25
Aye, any opposed? 00:10:26
F is a 2025 salary ordinance revision. What this does is it reflects any. 00:10:29
Salary adjustments that were made through the salary appeals and then the council themselves over the first quarter of the year. 00:10:36
And then also any. 00:10:42
Major changes within staffing. 00:10:44
It's just an updated version of them. 00:10:49
Motion to Approve 3. 00:10:52
3. 00:10:55
2nd. 00:10:59
We have a motion and a second for 3F. 00:11:01
Any further discussion? 00:11:04
All in favor say aye aye. Any opposed? 00:11:07
All right, we're on to the. 00:11:13
Item 4. 00:11:15
Floyd County ordinance for transfers. 00:11:17
Move to approve for a. 00:11:22
As published. 00:11:23
2nd. 00:11:26
Have a motion a second for a any questions on the transfers for tonight? 00:11:27
All in favor say aye. 00:11:33
Aye, any opposed? 00:11:34
That carries. 00:11:36
4B is the resolution rescinding resolution 20. 00:11:38
2804 on the hiring freeze for. 00:11:41
County offices. County employees. 00:11:44
This was brought about. 00:11:48
Because we were approving backfill positions. 00:11:54
In that. 00:11:59
Removes that. 00:12:01
Saying it correctly removes that. 00:12:03
I'll make. 00:12:05
I'll make a motion to approve for B. 00:12:06
2nd we have a motion a second for 4B. 00:12:08
Any questions or discussion? 00:12:11
So this just pertains to back the old position. 00:12:14
OK. And all of those have to come before? 00:12:17
Us if their salary increases or anything. 00:12:22
Anything different? Salary increase? New position? 00:12:27
All those things. So if the position is the backfill and everything is remaining the same. 00:12:32
It just takes care of us having to improve. 00:12:39
It saves you a lot of emails. 00:12:42
Any further discussion? 00:12:46
All in favor for B say aye. 00:12:48
Aye, any opposed? 00:12:51
That carries. 00:12:52
Foresee Tax. 00:12:54
This was put on as a placeholder for. 00:12:57
Yeah. This is was put on as a placeholder for discussion on will tax. We've done some of that. 00:13:01
Prior to this meeting and at the workshop before now. 00:13:07
Does anybody have any discussion points on that? 00:13:11
I just, I'll go back to my earlier point. I just think it's part of a larger discussion. 00:13:14
For this group to have. 00:13:18
Impacts what the revenue would be, what we're going to do. 00:13:21
And I think there still needs to be some clarification on. 00:13:24
If there are carve outs allowed. 00:13:28
And things like that that we don't. 00:13:31
Have that solid information just yet, but. 00:13:34
You could have something. 00:13:37
As far as carve outs? 00:13:38
You can't make your own. 00:13:40
Makes sense? 00:13:42
Vehicles. 00:13:43
And then? 00:13:48
This might be time for the Council to. 00:13:49
And. 00:13:52
Workshop very specific to. 00:13:54
A lot of her. 00:14:13
And. 00:14:20
I would recommend any. 00:14:21
Changes that are required advertisements and public meetings be in the works by the mid to end of July. We should get back to 00:14:22
that. 00:14:26
September 1st to October 1st. 00:14:31
Should we wait and see? 00:14:36
When she's available or. 00:14:38
Are used to have prior to presenting anything additional today personally. 00:14:43
So I would. 00:14:47
Very much recommend. 00:14:48
That the Council will get. 00:14:49
Maybe to at least one workshop? 00:14:51
Yeah, we have a regular meeting on the 8th. 00:14:57
We have a joint meeting. 00:15:00
On the 24th. 00:15:02
With the Commissioners. 00:15:04
I think we can get a lot of things on the board with the help of the commissioners personally. 00:15:07
I think we really need. 00:15:12
After that meeting. 00:15:13
No, I'm not directly. 00:15:19
Afterward, yes. 00:15:22
So into July, after that or the last? 00:15:24
Do we want to do 1? 00:15:29
Because we need to understand they've got a lot of money in some specific commissioner funds that aren't budgeted out anything 00:15:30
right now. And so it's before our July meeting too late. That's July 8th. We want to do it before then. 00:15:37
Danny, I am out. 00:15:50
The 20th through the 28th. 00:15:52
OK. Is everybody available before our next meeting? 00:15:55
4:30 or five. 00:15:58
4/4/30. 00:16:00
And you're talking about July 8th? 00:16:05
July 8th. Oh, doing it directly before we're talking about. 00:16:08
No, that's our meeting, OK. 00:16:14
Everybody OK with that? Yeah. 00:16:23
I think that's a good plan. 00:16:28
And that gives us plenty of time throughout July to have some another one if we need to. 00:16:32
Right, because we'll probably be getting more information little following week. 00:16:38
And so we may do they need to do another one. 00:16:42
Toward the end of the month. 00:16:44
OK, we're on to budget assignments. 00:16:47
We'll just let's just rundown through these. 00:16:55
If you want to be on one. If you're on one and you want to stay on one. 00:17:01
Or if you want to roll off. 00:17:05
Just let us know. 00:17:06
The courts. We had Brandon Dale, unstable courts. 00:17:11
Down to like the state with the courts. 00:17:15
Anybody volunteered to join him on that? 00:17:17
Got Dale and Denise on the courts. Dale, you were on soil and water. I'll take it. 00:17:21
Stay OK. 00:17:29
If anybody wants to join him, that's a fairly small. 00:17:31
Salesman within that budget. 00:17:36
The last few years so. 00:17:38
It's very simple, OK. 00:17:39
I've worked with the clerk the last few years. 00:17:43
I'd like to stay there, and if anybody wants to join me, they sure can. 00:17:46
It's. 00:17:51
Decent sized 1. 00:17:53
If anybody wants to join, speak now. 00:17:56
I'll take it. 00:17:59
Tony. 00:18:02
Service Office. 00:18:03
OK. 00:18:06
Denise, you work with Steve. 00:18:08
Honestly, I never met with him. 00:18:11
Somebody else wants to take that one. I'm OK. 00:18:13
Yeah, it's really. 00:18:17
It's pretty straightforward. 00:18:22
I can touch base with him. 00:18:23
Put my name on that one. 00:18:25
Anybody wants to join? Come on. 00:18:27
Dale, you did the record. 00:18:30
Yeah, I met with her first. 00:18:32
That's basically they're all pretty straightforward. Down is gonna stay on that, yeah. 00:18:34
All right, now we have the sheriff. 00:18:38
We have a nice and Connie on there last year. 00:18:41
I'll jump on that. 00:18:43
But if somebody wants to join me. 00:18:45
Man, OK. 00:18:47
Oh, Matt, what's that? Oh, they want to take it. 00:18:50
That's fine. Put Matt and Sam on for the sheriff. 00:18:53
Tony, you met with the surveyor. 00:18:58
I'll, I'll take it. 00:19:01
Stick with that one, yeah? 00:19:02
And you also did HR. I'll take her as well. Anybody else want on those? Those are pretty small ones. 00:19:03
Brad and I met with the prosecutor and actually did a little field trip. That was fun. 00:19:11
If anybody. 00:19:17
I'll join you with that kind of association with courts anyway. 00:19:19
Operations was. 00:19:26
Connie and Jim. 00:19:28
They they've already. 00:19:30
Started some discussions on budget. 00:19:31
So they should be. 00:19:34
Pretty good shape as far as. 00:19:36
Information. 00:19:39
I'd say that's one of the bigger ones. It is one of the bigger ones. Jim, do you want to stay on? 00:19:40
Anybody want to join? 00:19:45
I'll, I'll join Jim on that one. 00:19:50
We'll we'll set that up, but me and Jim on there. 00:19:53
Sad note, yes, their negotiations going. 00:19:56
With Rd. department. 00:19:59
We haven't been brought before this body yet. We we haven't met and we've. 00:20:01
We've conceded that. 00:20:06
Our negotiations that will start back up. 00:20:08
Third quarter will be for 2026, so. 00:20:12
I go 365 with Susanna. 00:20:22
Is that cool thing? 00:20:28
Yeah, I think there's still some money in it. That's it. 00:20:30
For our water. 00:20:32
Let's can she just e-mail that one? 00:20:38
Yeah. 00:20:42
We'll take a look at that if there's any changes. 00:20:43
Yeah. 00:20:46
Parks was Dale and Brad. I'll stay on. 00:20:48
I can jump on that too. 00:20:51
Put Dale and Matt on parks probation was me and Denise. 00:20:52
You want to stay on there. 00:20:58
I'll stay on it. It's complicated. So it is. It goes a lot of different directions. I'll do it with you if you want or if anybody 00:20:59
else wants to come on. 00:21:02
It's a complicated one. It is. Let's we'll keep that one the same then. 00:21:07
Community Corrections was Connie. I actually went with her on that one, but. 00:21:12
That one is another one that's. 00:21:17
Fairly complicated can get complicated and you know, they're kind of. 00:21:19
Go hand in hand with each other. 00:21:23
They're close. They don't like the whole pants. 00:21:28
I know they brush hands. 00:21:32
You know they still haven't. 00:21:35
Yeah, came to a. 00:21:39
Schedule, yeah. 00:21:41
I've sent a text on that. 00:21:45
Does anybody I'll I'll do it. 00:21:50
I met met with him last year. Does anybody want to join me on that? 00:21:53
If you need, backup all of it. 00:21:58
Put me and Matt on it. Matt, if you're. 00:22:00
Available when I schedule it. 00:22:01
That's fine. 00:22:03
Weight and measures, Tony, I'll take that. 00:22:05
All right, EMA. 00:22:07
Dale, can I take that one since I'm on their board anyway? 00:22:10
Yeah. Do you mind? 00:22:15
I don't know. 00:22:16
Put Tony on EMA. 00:22:18
Co-op is Dale. 00:22:21
Extension Service. Yeah, take that. Pretty simple. 00:22:23
OK. Health department, was Connie and Denise last year? 00:22:25
That was going to be complicated too this year because I think there's. 00:22:30
I don't know if it'll be complicated this year. You know, I think if there is any change to that 1161 time and that starts 00:22:34
affecting it in 2028, it would be .28 before. 00:22:41
I'll do it if somebody wants to come with me. You're right. 00:22:49
Denise and Dale on Health department. 00:22:53
Public vendor was. 00:22:57
Brad last year. 00:22:59
Unless somebody else wants. 00:23:02
I'll I'll join you if you need me. 00:23:03
Just put both of our names on there. 00:23:05
Danny and Matt on Public Defender. 00:23:08
Youth Services. 00:23:11
Nice, I'm on that board. 00:23:12
Stick with it. 00:23:15
Got leave Denise on Youth Services. 00:23:16
Tony and I met. 00:23:20
With the corner last year. 00:23:21
I'll do it. 00:23:26
I'll stick it with you, OK? As long as I have Tony back. 00:23:28
Denise was on for the County Council budget. I don't think I need to be on that. You could just take that. 00:23:34
Oh yeah, put my name on it and more. 00:23:40
OK, OK. 00:23:45
Oh yeah, and I'll. 00:23:46
Yeah, I'll meet with you on that as well. I'll stick with you. 00:23:48
The auditor of anybody else wants to join their welcome. 00:23:50
And the assessor was Connie and Dale last year. 00:23:54
Bill, you still want to meet with Terry? 00:23:59
I can't. Anybody want to join Dale? 00:24:01
That'd be good. He's a financial. 00:24:04
If I'm doing my math correctly, Sam's only on one. 00:24:07
That's why I noticed he got a real day job I think. 00:24:10
Well, wait a minute, man. What did he just say to you? Yeah, right, you don't. 00:24:15
You don't have to meet with these people. 00:24:20
During the day, like if you want to meet with Tony and I met with a corner at a coffee shop so you can. 00:24:22
You know, that's up to you. Put Dale on assessor if you need backup. Yeah, yeah. 00:24:28
Looks like yeah. 00:24:34
Just Dale now. 00:24:36
All right. 00:24:39
Any committee, Reports Tony. 00:24:43
No, Yeah, anything. 00:24:45
I am going up to the. 00:24:51
AIC meeting. 00:24:53
Not. 00:24:57
Yeah, OK. 00:24:59
And Diane? 00:25:00
We'll be there, yeah. 00:25:01
Did we cover this additional item that was sent out? 00:25:03
Oh yeah, let's do that. 00:25:07
Sorry, I thought you incorporated that in. 00:25:09
What number is this going to be? Under four or five? 00:25:13
Yeah, 5A and B. 00:25:16
Yeah, and it was an. 00:25:18
Mail sent out today. 00:25:19
Did everyone get a chance to read that e-mail from Krista? 00:25:22
I did. 00:25:25
This is the. 00:25:28
What 8103 is where it comes out of, right? So it's. 00:25:29
The funds are available. It's additional appropriations due to an increase from the state. Basically as far as their salaries, 00:25:32
it's just line transfers from. 00:25:36
One line to another. 00:25:41
To cover. 00:25:42
Salary increases. 00:25:43
Motion to approve. 00:25:45
2nd. 00:25:48
Are they asking for it to be retroed or? 00:25:55
No, it's not. It's a mid year increase, so it can be effective the 1st, July 1st, Yeah, beginning of the next paper. 00:25:58
Would be my recommendation. Motion to motion to approve. 00:26:07
He says 5 AB. 00:26:12
To be going to effect on the next day. 00:26:15
It was yesterday. 00:26:21
Unless we're. 00:26:29
Just go back a day. We just go back a day. 00:26:32
Yesterday started a new paper. 00:26:34
2nd June 9th, 2nd Tony. 00:26:38
Network then we have second any discussion. 00:26:42
All in favor say aye aye. Any opposed? 00:26:44
That carries. 00:26:47
Matt, did you have anything to add, committee reports or anything? 00:26:49
No, actually, other than that. 00:26:54
And start up in state going up to the. 00:26:56
AIC. Com. 00:26:58
Yeah, hopefully there's all good information. Information, yeah. 00:26:59
And we'll get you see what other? 00:27:03
County. Sure. 00:27:05
Doing and having right. Hopefully there's. 00:27:07
I just want to say. 00:27:13
Thanks to this board for. 00:27:15
The input, the questions. 00:27:17
And just digging into the situation that we're in. 00:27:21
And being flexible. 00:27:25
So far this year and. 00:27:27
Until we get through this. 00:27:28
Budget season. 00:27:30
So thank you all for that. 00:27:31
Public comment. 00:27:33
How was that your? 00:27:43
Commissioners meeting. 00:27:45
And I brought to the attention to the commissioners that my mother has. 00:27:47
I have. 00:27:51
A fake death certificate. There's a fake stone at the cemetery. 00:27:52
And the obituary during her. 00:27:57
Service was fake. 00:27:59
Was she aware of that before she passed away? 00:28:01
Yes, she was. She knew how that was gonna go there. 00:28:04
OK, so. 00:28:07
After I brought that up, I received in the mail. 00:28:09
This from newcomers. 00:28:12
Did the the the next day. 00:28:14
After that meeting when I said those words. 00:28:16
This is what came. Of course it has her information, everything on there. 00:28:18
I expected that. 00:28:22
So I did do a stop in. 00:28:23
Today and I asked them to please take a look into it. 00:28:25
Because she. 00:28:29
Departed in 2016. 00:28:30
And on top of that? 00:28:34
The Joy County. 00:28:36
When they did their mandate of 12/20 during the COVID. 00:28:38
So you take your 60 in today. 00:28:41
Which she expected this. Here it is 610. 00:28:44
Can you take your 610 meeting which is 12/20? 00:28:47
She is. 00:28:50
Has the 12:20. 00:28:52
Date OK. 00:28:55
Your mandate date before you mandated. 00:28:57
She had. 00:29:00
Now, I did also give to the Commissioners. 00:29:01
Because I went out of town to get the latest. 00:29:04
Copy of it. 00:29:07
When when the state came out. 00:29:08
With on 3/16 COVID-19 57. 00:29:10
511. 00:29:15
OK, that's how they did it. 00:29:17
3/16. 00:29:19
Covic, 1957. 00:29:21
511 on Fox. 00:29:23
59 I did give that information. 00:29:25
To the Commissioners. 00:29:28
Because that would be the deceased too. 00:29:29
And that would be me that 3/16. 00:29:31
Code 19. 00:29:34
57511 is the deceased in me. 00:29:35
Was she aware of that when she left? 00:29:38
In 2016. 00:29:40
Yes, she was. I wear. 00:29:42
Ma'am, you've got one more minute, so I don't need one more minute. That's OK. Just like you know, information right here. I'm 00:29:43
leaving that with you. 00:29:47
Thank you. 00:29:50
All right. 00:29:55
Motion adjourned. 00:29:57
2nd. 00:29:59
All in favor oh, wait a minute, elected officials want to talk. 00:29:59
Just real quick, I take back that second. 00:30:04
Sheriff Steve Bush, I just want to give you an update. We are renovations are going well at the. 00:30:06
Ginzinger building so. 00:30:10
No extra cost and not coming back to y'all for extra money or anything. Just want to let you know that renovations are going well. 00:30:12
I think they want to stop by and see them. Let me know. 00:30:15
Thank you very much, Sheriff. What are you renovating? 00:30:19
So the whole the building. So when the city moved out the company. 00:30:22
Measures gave us the ability to move into that building, so we're moving our administrator offices down. 00:30:25
On the second floor to where the city's administration was. 00:30:30
Then eventually our court team will come from the county building over to where we are at now. 00:30:33
And then we're bringing our training room here. 00:30:38
Back there. 00:30:40
So a lot of stuff about a movie piece, a lot of stuff going on, but. 00:30:42
And then we're doing some things, I think a weight room and a. 00:30:45
A map room as we call jujitsu type room. 00:30:49
In the basement, we're able to do that as well, so. 00:30:51
Did you ever resolve the electrical water issue? 00:30:53
Not yet. That's all that still works. 00:30:56
Getting better. We're getting closer. 00:30:58
So no leagues too. So we're good so far. That's good. But yeah, we're that's that's. 00:31:00
Going to well, so the authorities been a great help to us. 00:31:04
In terms of doing some painting for us, we saved a lot of money by doing that instead. Harm somebody. 00:31:07
And then they've helped us some maintenance stuff and also our maintenance person's working with third maintenance Group. So 00:31:12
that's all going great as well. 00:31:15
Thank you. 00:31:19
All right now, I'll entertain a motion to adjourn. 00:31:20
Motion to adjourn. 00:31:25
All in favor. 00:31:27

Hi. 00:31:28
