We have some circumstances that arose from Tuesdays. On Wednesday, we received a termination letter for our current medical 00:01:04
provider and that current contract. So at that time, I called each one of you and Mr. Fox in reference to having a special 00:01:10
meeting. I believe I answered all the questions, but I'll take any questions here this evening. In terms of this new contract, 00:01:15
what I'm asking for is approval to go ahead and sign this contract under the new statute that took place July 1st and become 00:01:21
before the Commission on all of our contracts. 00:01:27
And Steve, you indicated that this contract was less expensive than the one that you had previous, Is that correct? That is 00:01:35
correct. 00:01:39
Before was in reference to less expensive, but also wasn't very budgeted. And yes, you know, we iterated in our budget on the 00:01:43
current contract received X amount of 707,000. This one is under 700,000. I think there's about a 70,000 if I remember correctly, 00:01:49
$70,000 savings. 00:01:54
So yes, is this for, is this for one year or the three-year or is it? 00:02:02
OK. And do we know, I mean are they going to raise the rates next year you know make up for? 00:02:08
3% raise each year automatically I think, but. 00:02:17
The current contract would have raised over 15%, which? 00:02:22
OK. So still would have been, it'd still be cheaper to go at this company even with a 3% raise as opposed to the new rate that 00:02:26
they gave you for the other contract? 00:02:30
And just for the record, the contract is for $699,188.34 plus there's 24,000 that's put into an aggregate gap, a cap account and 00:02:41
that's for incidental's like medical supplies, mobile services, off site services. 00:02:51
And so that's an account that they draw on with respect to that. 00:03:02
